I believe in the wise and true African saying that “it takes a village to raise a child.” To be an effective member of the village, I must work together with the other influential members in the child’s life. Whenever needed, I consult with school staff, the pediatrician and any other adults who play a major part. I always include the parents and work with them as a coach giving suggestions from the sidelines to the primary and most important players for the child
