JUDITH PHIBBS Ph.D
About

I am a clinical psychologist with more than thirty five years of experience working with children, adolescents and their families. My training included receiving a PH.D. in clinical psychology from the University of Arizona, completing a clinical internship at Duke Medical Center and a fellowship in clinical child and adolescent psychology at the University of North Carolina Medical Center. I have worked in a pediatric neurology unit at the University of Rochester Medical Center, on an adolescent inpatient psychiatric unit, in two community mental health centers, as a Coordinator of Child and Adolescent Services for Howard County Mental Health Center and, most recently, within the Baltimore County School System. Within this long period, the field of clinical psychology has evolved and developed increasingly effective therapeutic techniques to treat a wide range of problems. I have kept up with the changes and improvements and now use therapeutic techniques that are solidly backed by research.
